WE'RE ON ASSIGNMENT TO GO BACK TO GERMANY!
Spouse just called me from work to tell me. No orders yet telling when and where, just that they have him assigned to go back (and he's in his window).
It could still be taken back, that happens a lot to instructors here, but I'm letting myself hope anyways.
I LOVED Germany and all the travel to other areas living there made possible. I HATED having to leave Europe. NOW we have word they want to send us BACK!
Freakin' WOOHOO!
I hope I hope I hope I hope I hope I hope!

I seem to be fighting off something or maybe it's just stress. I'm not sure which to hope for.
Today's a fairly busy day, a good deal of social stuff going on tonight.
I don't have a lot to say here.

For all he drives me insane at times, makes me so mad that I feel like I could burst something, annoys me with things... I so adore my spouse.
We've had our problems over the past 11 years so far, but we've never had the genuine mismatch or disliking that is so commonly seen in couples, in marriages, that makes me wonder every time I see people putting themselves through it.
When there's a problem that needs talked about, we talk about it.
We have a basic respect for the other as a separate person.
When one of us needs space, the other gives it.
When one of us needs time together, it's a priority.
We have basic trust, built from being frank with each other even when the truth is hard for one or both.
We are, more than being married or lovers, best friends.
There have been some damn hard times, but today we're still together because of those things listed. I don't settle and that's how you get a good partner, by not settling for less. I don't understand those who put up with less than that -or how so many feel good, really good, about giving their partner less.

I've begun on the road to speaking and reading Thai, along with my spouse. So far, I'm digging it.
Inserted my first microdermals today (on myself, of course. I guinea pig all things new to me on me before moving on to practicing on others).
That was so easy and they look great. I placed one on the back of each wrist so I had to do one with my off-hand. Still went in beautifully.

I'm not loving the discs I got for them but felt they'd be better to heal with than the "healing ends" that one can have on them... I want to avoid my body recessing the end too far while healing, but also wanted something that wouldn't catch on things constantly. Once they're healed I'll switch out to "pretty", but until then it's all about the healing... as always!
I'm totally in love with microdermals now. The spouse watched while I did them and he's now even talking about having me do some on him. He often acts as second guinea pig for me, but oly to get technique down -not to keep things. So this is a big thumbs up from him in watching the process and how they look, that he wants some for himself.
Yay!

I swear to god, the more I talk to and read from them, the more I find that most women seem to be psychotic and amazingly insecure.
