Well, happy "I don't eat the turkey, thanks" Day!
After getting up and heading to my grandma's, I got to listen to so many lovely comments:
"Oh, vegetarian nonsense! The turkey is wonderful!"
"Why aren't you having any gravy?? I MADE it!"
"Is there ANYWHERE that you don't have pierced"
"Oh that's a pretty ring." (when I tell them I got it at the Wicca supply store) "OH......umm.....here. Have it back..."
"Oh, Jackie, won't you say Grace?"
GRRRR!!!!!!! *sigh*
So then we drove across the Narrows Bridge (which if you live in Washington, you will KNOW is a bitch), we went to Rob's family's house...Oh more fun! At least they haven't known me long enough to comment on my mods....yet.
Oh well...
Being on the rag doesn't help matters. Don't get me wrong, I hold no animosity towards my flows, but I was cranky and it was all I could do not to get up in someone's face...give THEM a hard time. I can see it now...
