makes me happy: My family, foremost. I wish I could claim to be a tortured writer with a horrid upbringing, but alas, my parents are loving and supportive. I have no artistic credibility whatsoever because of this, but I think it's an okay trade. My friends are also amazing, and I've had many of them since grade school. I guess I'm addictive. And when all else fails, I can be made whole again by playing Pac-Man at an authentic cabinet in the forgotten corner of an arcade.

makes me sad: The fairly realistic possibility of us being blown into atomic smithereens in the not-so-distant future. It's a bit of a downer.
