View from my apartment, which is being renovated, top to bottom. My apartment building is for disabled low-income earners, so when it was bought last year by new management, the whole thing needed to be up to code.
The new management placed me in a motel for a month while the floor I live in was remodled.
New carpet, paint, lighting, cabinets, tiles, a ceiling fan, new balcony window, new appliances,
everything new except the bathroom tub, I'm told.
I move back in this monday. Most of my stuff, which was placed in storage, will be moved back the same day. I'm glad at least the floor I live on is almost done (it's been noisy and a little chaotic with all the construction).
Happy to be home again soon.
