Another opportunity has arrived. 18 months of looking for a better job and 3 or 4 jobs came down to me and another guy.....and I lost. I really hope I snag this one. Its a good fit although I'll be on the road a TON more...

Generally they say it isn't worth it unless you're saving at least 1 point. Even if interest rates went to 35% tomorrow, my interest rate can only go up 1 point per year and caps at 10%. Everyone was in such a panic to get out of ARMs, but I'm glad mine is currently working in my favor.
