About Me
Stuff and things, things and stuff. I'm totally fascinating.
age: 34 (May 10, 1974)
MEMBER SINCE: October 2004
occupation: The deadest of the dying.
gets me hot: motion
most humbling moment: I'm sure I'll find out soon.
sign: Rocks
i lost my virginity: but I'm sure if I stay here long enough it will find its way home.
makes me sad: willfull ingnorance, lost causes, The Aztecs crushing my civilization, casual cruelty.
Ever since the unpleasantness on Monday, the days leading up to my birthday have been a blast. I built my new computer! With monitor the bill came to $800, and I'm satisfied with it. Here are the specs for people interested in that kind of thing:
Processor: AMD 8650 Phenom x3
Motherboard: Gigabyte Ga-MA78GM
Video card: Nvidia 8800gt
RAM: 2gig DDR2 800
Case: Cooler Master CM690
19 LCD monitor, a new DVD-r, and a big ol' heatsink fan.
The DVD-r arrived this afternoon, and that was the final piece. It is now constructed, encased, and running smooth. I'm not going to go into more detail since I think the number of people interested in reading the geekery behind my decision are very very few, and probably not reading this. This is where my money from the sale of my Everquest2 toon went, and it was worth it.
Along with my new computer, I got another awesome surprise.

Check that shit out. That came in a big box, along with cookies from Vie de France, a brownie, a mixed bag of Reese's peanut butter treats, and a stack of cds. If I'd known 34 was going to be this kick ass I'd have gotten here sooner.
