Greetings and salutations! It's been awhile.

Some significant developments since I was last active 'round these parts. While I've said for a long time I plan on moving out to the west coast, it looks like its going to be sooner rather than later. After recent developments, I might be in CA by January.

The plan was to wait until I had a reasonable amount of money saved up so I could live for awhile until I found steady work out there - probably late next year. But I just discovered that in CA, community college is fucking ridiculously cheap, particularly if you're a resident. Not only that, but they actually offer film programs. I don't need a degree from some prestigious film school, I just want to learn the basics/essentials. So this is perfect.

Then get this - My dad tells me that he's been talking with my uncle who lives out there about my situation. Those plot-hatchin motherfuckers. Turns out he has a condo near Santa Barbara that he's going to let me stay in for a few months so I can get going with school and start savin up dough till I find an affordable place for myself! Santa Barbara! Beautiful!

No more pipe dreams, this shit is on. I need a fresh start somewhere new. I gotta press the reset button on the Nintendo that is my life, so to speak. haha.

I'm nervous as a motherfuck, but the only way to achieve it is to fuckin go for it. So that's what I'm doing.
