Just recently I bought a new mountain bike from Halfords with SRAM Gripshift controls to replace my old claude Butler Cycle that had Shimano rapidfire which I had sold a little to enthusiasticaly to my friend from bedford and within 3 days and 15 miles, the damn right grip lever suddenly dies denying me the power to shift the rear cassette hubs and i'm left stranded several miles from home but convieniently near the hslfords store i bought it from .
Are Grippers really that f***ing crap? My old shimano rapidfire bike had almost no problems for the 8 years i've had it concerning gearing and this thing breaks within 2 days of purchase and test runs ?
Man I really miss my gripshift
