So today was the democratic primary in new york. Fucking naves. Do they really think it matters who's in office?
I don't vote.
And before people start coming down on me for that, hear me out.
Over there on the left is one asshole running for president. Over there on the right is another prick. I don't agree with either of the two puppets who are really just nonsense, irrelevant figureheads being told what to do. And then there's all the third party, one issue candidates who's views i dont agree with either.
Why should i waste my one and only vote on someone i dont agree with at least 90%? (and Im being very loose with that percentage)
Besides the fact that it doesn't matter who wins. The same (figurative) person's holding the strings on both the marionettes. All these promises don't mean shit because they're not the ones making the decisions anyway. And even if they try, then they have to deal with getting their initiatives past congress and the courts.
Boo hoo hoo, Bush stole the fucking election from Gore....big shit. Any moron who thinks Gore would have been any better than, any different from Bush is nave. They both would have sucked. And I DO have the right to complain. I'll repeat. I did not vote and i do have the right to complain. Everyone who voted does not have any right to complain because they're the dumb fucks who voted these assholes into office.
And i blame doubly the dumbasses who voted for a candidate not because they support them, but because they like the other candidates less. Oh, what an ill fated logic that is. "Let us willingly put someone in office we know will be a bad public servant just because we like the other one less." Thats like running out into traffic and wondering why you got pummeled by a truck. Do they really think by picking someone who is "less bad", things are gonna get any better? I don't.
I wish there was an option for me to go to the voting booth on Election Day and actually record a 'No Vote', that way they know i wasnt just an average uninformed lazy ass slovenly american who is too lame to go vote. They'll know that even after i went all the way down to my voting post, and even after all the millions of dollars spent on their stupid propaganda wars (cough i mean campaigns), i actively and consciously decided that none of the candidates that i can choose from are worth my vote.

Hey, what's up with that mysteriously edited post to my journal?
