As I sat down to collect my thoughts for this entry, a news story caught my attention.
They spent a month in Iraq. So I was intersted. Then they mentioned that the unit they were following is from the Florida National Guard. I live in Florida. The first soldier they talk to as they patrol is a sttudent, just like me. There he is, sweating his balls off, hoping someone isn't going to pop a cap in his ass. They did hear gun shots. Then hunted down the source. They hoed it wasn't a gun fight or a sniper. And it wasn't, it was an Iraqi wedding. They throw lead instead of rice.
