Sorry about the delay in updating, I thought I was gonna wait until the end of the month to renew - but they did it for me. *shrugs*
Well, what's new with me?
I got a callback from the Northwest Children's Theatre - two actually: one for "Cheaper by the Dozen" and one for "The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle".
I just got done reading their respective books/sources.
The coast was fun. My niece ended up coming along with us. We played games on my GameCube and went down to the beach most days. Saturday we went to the little town and played Bingo.
When I got back, I found out that our Assistant Manager got in an accident -- apparent the wheel (and part of the axel) came off some guy's car and he wasn't quite able to avoid it on his motorcycle.
He didn't get too badly injured - his helmet saved his life, but his got some nasty "road rash". As a result I got a couple more 40 hour weeks.
I might also get to play a soldier in Portland Center Stage's production of King Lear. It's an ensemble role, but in a professional theatre and I'd get free tickets to PCS's entire season.
So as to plan for my hopeful moving out, I picked up one of those apartment guides. Looks like I'll need 4-5 hundred a month, at least, to pay for rent - hopefully I can get more hours (or some paid acting) so it'll be possible.
My Assistant Manager's getting the promotion we've been expecting - he's gonna become the Manager of our Kelso store. So, I should be getting some better hours again - at least, for a little while.
I'll try to do another update (relatively) soon. Later.
