makes me sad: Terrorism, Bigots, bullying, loneliness, Strange Fruit by Lady Day, art, writing

gets me hot: That's a secret but it's got nothing to do with removing clothes bit by bit. It's a feeling maybe is a good word to describe it.

heroes: Keavy Lynch, Wilson Phillips, Billy Joel, Tom hanks, Meg Ryan, the Ephron sisters, Gil Grissom and Adam Bouska to name a few.

body mods: a couple of ear rings in left ear, pierced left eye brow and left nostril and seriously considering getting some tats.

fantasy: Finding the perfect girl for me and who I am perfect for, having the perfect kids for us, living in the perfect home for our family and struggling to pay the effing mortgage....Well not everything can be perfect right?

WORLD WISH DAY AND MAKE-A-WISH AND WHY THEY ARE SO IMPORTANT TO ME.

If you are one of my tweetpeeps and you are reading this you will know how important my charities are to me, after all they are the first on my follow friday list every week, but some charities I support in other ways too, financial ways, and Make-A-Wish is one such charity, and in this blog I am going to tell you why and why this weekend, if you can, I would like you to dig out a quid for a Wish too, please continue to read I beg you.

Let me get one thing straight, I am not writing this blog so you can hold a parade in my honor for my donations, nor for popularity or any of that cr..., er, erm,...stuff! And yes although I am going to ask if you could please donate 50 pence or a quid or 2, to please do, a prayer and a wish for a wish kid would also do just as nicely because if you wish for their wish to come true, double the wish, double the chances it will.

So brief history, it starts with a simple wish of a young boy named Chris Greicius, who all is young life had dreamed one day to be a police man, Chris was diagnosed with Leukemia and in 1980 with the help of a U.S. customs officer Tommy Austin who had befriended Chris and his mum, on the 29th of April 7 year old Chris’ wish came true, he was sworn in as the first honorary officer of the Arizona DPS (Department of Public Safety) in state history, he had is own official uniform and everything.

On May the 3rd sadly Chris passed away but not before giving some of the most joyful smiles you ever would see at his wish coming true, and thus Make-A-Wish was born. There is so much more to Chris’s story and you can, and should, read it right here. http://www.wish.org/about/the_first_wish
