Wishing for fresh frozen peas. And grated cucumbers. And tap water that I can drink immediately.

Least I found, in a little grocery store in Hangzhou, a kind of pasta I REALLY like. Albeit I am currently eating it cooked then mixed up with a can of tuna, some supposed maybe butter and some mostly mozzarella cheese.

You know, sometimes I think its more the unconsummated stuff thats worse than the unrequited. The never-tried-for, not-gone-after bit that is worse in so many ways. That tension that somehow goes way beyond just sexualthough the sexual parts certainly rear their multiple heads at the same time. Make it burn that much brighter. But for possibly various reasons, you dont even get to know if...

earlier today i was making something to eat and i truly contemplated what it would be if i lost both my hands. what could i even do... not the first time i've pondered losing a physical ability. i think i've had several dreams in the past month or so when that has happened.

I feel your pain - I only lived in Bordeaux for the one year, but I quickly decided to avoid my fellow Brits abroad.

i find that amusing only because i have met far more brits here than i ever had before and i just adore a good many of them. maybe we're all just a lot more afraid of "ourselves" than we'd care to admit? maybe us western-raised peoples have this sick need to feel unique from time to time and it comes out in bad ways (and then gets heightened by alcohol?)?

yikes. birthday coming up... and i wonder why i get to questioning everything even more incessantly than usual haha.

over 4 years in china now. still not exactly sure how the hell that happened.

i think the 2 questions that i dread the most but get far too often are, "So what's China like?" and"Why are you there?"

the first one is just simply obnoxious....

come here and visit me...all i can say about it is that it is vastly confusing. however, if you actually planned a visit, i would totally do my best to show you the best that Hangzhou has to offer in a tiny amount of time.
