First off let me just say a HUGE thank you to all of you wicked awesome ladies that sent me happy birthday wishes!!! It was a whole lot easier turning the big 3-0 than I thought (and was told, for that matter). I hope that having now been relieved of the burden of living in my 20's people will start to take me a little more seriously, but I am quite the realist (most call me a pesimest, that and ASSHOLE!!!), and I am sure the world will continue to spin the same way that it always has, meaning people will always think they know whats what and you know dick. So, let me fill you in as to what has gone on in my life over the past several months. I was finally awarded a settlement in a law suit that has been going on for over 2.5 years!!! You would think that getting 8 plastic anchors, 2 titanium screws, a cadaver ligament, 2 years of physical therapy, and a general pain in my ass & knee would leave little grounds for letigious dispute, but you'd be wrong you would. The insurance companies blow. So, having gotten a bunch of money, one would think things are great. Let me tell you that sttudent loans and debt racked up from being unable to work for 2 years will sap every cent you get kids. On the plus side however, I am now virtually debt free. That is a huge relief. Don't get me wrong kids, I did buy the wife and I some awesome toys and we have been traveling some. It is all gone now though. =) Was it worth it you may ask??? HELL FUCKIN' NO ASSHEAD, I GOTTA WALK AROUND ON A BUSTED KNEE FOREVER!!! But it has been a fun few months none the less. The job that I had written about before steadily went south and my employers forced me into a position were I felt that I would either take a moral stand against their assinine behavior or sell my moral constitution for their petty offer to buy me off. At the end of the day I could not look myself in the mirror and be okay with the result had I not walked away, you know? YEA ME!!! I am now working as an office manager and clothing rep. for some awesome people. We are representing some very cool lines of clothing, plus I get to travel and I get free duds. Home life is good, and I still thank and curse the powers that be concurently for granting me the coolest wife ever. It sometimes seems like so much to live up too, but very worth it. We had a really cool girlfriend for a while, but she got a little weird (I think she was intimidated by the fact that we are married, but still loved her, for lack of better explination), and we parted ways. So ladies if you wanna hang, play, have, and everything else with an awesome couple, we are open (hint, hint). . After having just re-read what I've written and staring at the screen now for 5 minutes, I believe that I have expended all that I have to say for the time being.
