Guys, did you know Cadavre is having a Print Sale? Here's just a taste of what she has on offer:

To see the rest, go here: http://suicidegirls.com/members/Cadavre/albums/member/257306/
I know I'm buying!
Some nice new sets over the weekend from Kelpie_:

Guns:

And Hemi_:

All lovely girls deserving of your love.
And, finally, I've gotten started on a project I've wanted to do for a while now. Naked People and Dinosaurs. I don't have a proper title yet. Anyway, as I've been headed in that direction already, I've decided to include nude men in this project. I've got a few people helping me with reference. Here's one I did based on a photo Eveski sent me a couple years ago:

Gives you an idea of where I'm going with this.
Guess that's all for now.

Time to get things back on track.
Given what's been going on for me personally, I'm sure it comes to no surprise to anyone that things have gone a bit off the rails. I've fallen behind on some of my comics work, and now I'm finding myself struggling to shake the cobwebs off and get back to it.
I've managed to get a few things done, though. Like these pages for The Undercovered Agent:

I also hired a coloring assistant to help me with Trench Coat Samurai:

Anyone remember that graphic novel I was working on a couple years ago, the one about modeling? I finally wrote a rough outline for it. Cadavre has read it and gave it her stamp of approval. Can't say when I might get around to drawing it, though.
In an attempt to live up to my SG name, I recently decided to watch all things Star Trek: The Next Generation.

I watched a decent amount of TNG when it was originally on. But not every episode. Now I've seen all seven seasons, along with the four feature films. And I guess this makes me well prepared for the upcoming new movie, Star Trekkin' To The Darkness.
Of course, JJ Abrams isn't going to include anything like this:

Hello, SG Land. How've you been? How was your Easter/ Passover?
My Easter was spent largely away from the internet. Mostly because I was busy visiting family, but also because I can only read the phrase "Happy Zombie Jesus Day" so many times before I want to murder someone.
But onto other things.
More sketches of the nude men:

Finding decent reference on the internet is damn near impossible. Ask Elea. She knows.
QUESTION FROM LAST WEEK: What's your favorite album and why?
Bitten: "Motley crue-too fast for love. From when they were still good. Plus lots of good memories for me. "
StCyr: "The Clash's Sandinista! is my favorite album ever. For a variety of reasons, but the primary ones being that it was my first cognizant experience with punk in a geopolitical protest context, and also the first album where "punk" was broadened beyond it's traditional guitar chord roots to embrace, incorporate and adopt other wold music genres into the fold."
suispud1: "Jethro Tull's Thick As A Brick or Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon. Pretty much exposed me to the whole prog rock genre.."
My answer: Radiohead's OK Computer. It punched me in the gut with its opening chords, and took me into a future world that was a dark allegory of the world around me. Plus it's just good music.
QUESTION FOR THIS WEEK: Name a movie you consider a guilty pleasure, then defend that choice against those that would make fun of you (I guess it's not a question, but let's not get into semantics here).
Have you seen Macabria's new set? It's pretty sweet:

A few other hopefuls I'm rooting for:
Hemi_:

Hexxus:

Eveski:

The other night I posted this.

And here were some of the reactions I got:
"I really like his penis. Is like to see him fully erect. he looks pretty well hung. I'll send u a nude picture of my guy and you could draw him. J/k he'd kill me"
"dangly pieces!"
"Nude men are quite interesting, at least, the drawn ones....ha!"
And then finally:
"I, for one, think you should draw more naked men. Juuuuuuust sayin'. Nudes are beautiful and are fun to draw."
I give in to peer pressure so easy.

I'm actually getting into the idea of nude male pinups. It offers different and interesting challenges from drawing girls. To that end, Cadavre has been kind enough to offer up her husband as a model. This should be interesting.
