So I need a little advice or maybe just vent and get this off my chest...Saturday I am going to a wedding. Not just any wedding but the wedding of my Ex- girlfriend. (and no I am not going to stand up, object or do anything crazy like that) She was...is my first love. I never got over her and when I heard the news it felt like my heart broke all over again. I mean I knew she was in love with someone else and would have married him eventually but it still hit me like a ton of bricks. We remained friends over the years, yes it has been years since she broke it off with me. She knows I still love her very much. However we or she rather got more and more distant over the years. I understand she had to do what she had to do for her own life and I harbor no ill feelings against her and I truly wish and hope the best for her. My question is what do I say to her or do I even say something how do I put on a fake smile because inside I am wishing it is me that is spending the rest of my life with her? My second question is for the ladies...Would you want to know if someone still loved you who you were once in love with? Would you want them to tell you?
