That's right, I'm all smiles after last nights show. They boys came together and played thier asses off. It was a light Vactown crowd but by the end of the set the people were paying attention and clapping and cheering. On top of that I personally heard a couple of great unsolicited compliments for em. People couldnt believe it was only thier first show.
After driving 2 hours up (and smokin a phatty blunt) we arrived, had some drinks, had some laughs, and stood in the rain a little. And on the way back we hit up a Krispy Kreme drive thru for coffee and donughts. Like I said, all in all it was a great night (and performance) for these guys and will only help increase thier confidence in themselves, thier music, and thier stage show. I really see big things for these guys and its really exciting.
Well, now it's time to make last night a memory and move on to show #2 TONIGHT in Livermore. This is a really important show for the guys since a lot of friends are coming out and most of them have never seen or heard them play. I think they are gonna tear the fuckin house down, but again i may be biased.
I did have a very rad moment last night as I sat brimming from ear to ear feeling like a proud papa watching my little boys tear it up. Shit I almost shed a fuckin tear. THat's right, Mr. Green has a heart; but don't tell anyone.
The journey continues....
