Because my journals have recently become epic in length here's a capsule review of my week/end.

There's something to be said about waking up semi-drunk and disoriented at 5am with a penis drawn on one's forearm, balls drawn on one's chin and various other things written in blue sharpie over one's body. And it isn't, "OMG, this is awesome!" Oh, and did i mention the couch that was laid over the couch that i was sleeping on preventing me from getting out...great thing to do to a claustrophobe. And yes, i was drinking that night....a lot (15+ beers and two shots).

Also, i've been told twice independently of people that i look like this guy

from the movie Deuce Bigalow. I have longish curly hair now and a goatee. I'm not sure what to think of that.

Haven't heard anything from Carrie yet, but I only called her yesterday and left a message. I suppose i'll wait a day or so before calling again. Don't want to seem too overbearing or anything.

Every once in a while i feel the urge to write some poetry/songs. I'm not that great at it, but it's at least semi-decent stuff that comes out. I've always wanted a girl that i could write a song about...a girl that inspires me so to speak. Even though i can't sing, dance or play an instrument i feel that there's someone out there that could inspire me to that because i'm romantic and shit. Well sinse that's not looking like it's going to happen in the forseeable future (who knows what will happen with Carrie though) i've decided to write a lil ditty about the girls i like, but don't like me back or we just don't have enough in common for something to really work. So far i've only gotten a lil bit of it done, but here it goes:

I see her in the coffee shop
Wearing hemp clothing and birkenstocks
Isn't it crazy, she's a hippy lady

I want a girl that thinks she's better than me
'Cause she likes to hug trees and doesn't eat meat
But she's still pretty sweet

I come in from the weather

Though it's not going to work i can see

I go into the bookstore
See a tomboy girl in short hair
And it occurs to me that she's into ladies

I want a girl that doesn't want me
'Cause she likes to be flirty with lots of other girlies
And i'm missing a pussy
So i guess it will never ever be

Well that's what i got so far...what do y'all think? I know it needs some work but i just thought of it tonight. I guess it's kind of an emo-ish song but whatever.
