A Jewish Christmas....
Cheap Whiskey and Cigars....
That pretty much sums up my Xmas.... once again i spent the whole day sat on my lonesome (part bad luck, part choice)... which wasn't all that bad to be honest..... with the whole world occupied with unwrapping presents and merriment i actually got some decent song writing done....... now i just need to find a way to repeat such success for the rest of the year.
Made me realise that Christmas is about those around you and not what you get.... not that i ever got much anyway... so no change there, still spoke to my family over the phone.... who tbh all sounded a little bored... i suppose 28+ Christmas' later it is going to get rather old... oh well at least it's done and i no longer have to bite my tongue about how much the whole season make my skin crawl these days.
So now i just have to look forward to NYE and getting my hopes and expectations up for the year ahead..... i should probably lower those considerably whilst i still reside in England..... this country is doing down hill faster than a fat kid on a water slide....
Still two shows in jan coming up and new material in the making.... that should at least distract me long enough to formulate a plot!
