Does anyone remeber this band at all? I totally forgot this great goup until now when i found Straight Up tribute cd on sale. 2 euros. Thats nothing so i was really happy that i finaly got this awesome album but some reason kinda sad to see that this one has been in shop like forever. And they almost had to give it away to someone to take it.
Awesome record and really goot tribute but then of course theres some low points too. For sure lowest of lows is the Limp Bitzkit song. I understand and for sure those guys knew Lynn much better than me. Hell i dint ever even got to change to see them live or anything. But still first lyrics "Limp Bitzkit 4eveeer" just makes me angry. It should be tribute to Lynn and... i don know im just speechless and annoyied and speechless and angry. WTF!
Well still awesome tribute, great album and lot of incredible people that surely put part of theyr soul on this album.
I fucking have to find Get Some somewhere. Just love that record. I have been lissening these too albums whole evening. Both are so good.
This year on december it will be 10 years since that car crash. I hope that someone else would remebers that too.
edit. Had to return. I totally understand why Straight Up would not sell in Finland on 2000. Cause none knew SOAD, Slipknot, Coal Chamber, etc but Korn and SoulFly ofcourse... Anyway now its 2008 and everyone know those bands, metal is mainstream here and you can even find MSI records from recordstore. Weird.
