Yeah it sucks to sometimes have to walk on egg shells around here. But you really don't have to, state your opinion in a kind fashion and others should do the same, and those who don't probably aren't that cool in real life anyways. I'm sure not everyone will agree with every comment you make around here but there will always be someone nodding their head with you somewhere.

Seriously, people think that the "buffer zone" of teh intarwebs gives them the license to run roughshod over everyone and ANYone's thoughts, feelings, and opinions. These sorts of people are little and unworthy of your time and energy. When you find a way of reconciling yourself with it, let me know...because it occasionally irritates the living HELL out of me, too.

I totally know where you are coming from, kinda why I took a break a few months back.....and, now that I am back on, I have a bit of a different perspective. I mean, most of the people that I have "verbally sparred" with in the past I know will never fundamentally share the same values and views as myself. In fact, now I just look for the comedy, irony, and hypocrisy that runs rampant on these boards and thank the good Lord in heaven that it's not being turned out from my keyboard and I laugh. Again, though, I totally get what you are saying! You should stay though because I have seen a lot of the things you've posted and you are always very articulate and intelligent in projecting your views and opinions! I am always like, "Yeah! G-friend is right on!" seriously...I told another member that today who always has to go toe to toe with some of the "elitists" that you have referenced, as well. He came back and I was stoked. So yeah, stay!

This is the exact reason I also took a break. And probably will not be back when my subscription expires in December. For a site that's supposedly found on freethinking and individuality, this site is conformity central.
