In the norther parts of Australia, there are terrible flooding and a possible Monsoon. In the southern parts of Australia, we have top temperatures. Sydney today was considered the hottest place in the world. Or so they announced on the television. I just checked the update, and they are only at 33 degree's. Melbourne, where i live, is hot (44 degrees), windy and bushfires are burning everywhere. Some are major ones and others are minor but still threaten properties. If i was to go outside right now, you can clearly see the sky is musky with smoke. Sirens are going off every few minutes. The suburbs surrounding me have fires burning. A few people have lost their homes at the moment. Today it was announced that Melbourne will have worse conditions than those of Ash Wednesday (Bushfires). If you are unfamiliar with Ash Wednesday Bushfires... google that shit, better yet wikipedia it. They were pretty gruesome. Anyways, it sucks knowing that people are losing their homes so today i signed myself up as a volunteer fire fighter. I know me as 1 man can't do much, but if i can make just a little difference. Then it will all be worth it.
