Nothing too much to add, really. Most groups on SG require that I have some blog posts, though, so we'll call these preparatory postings. I don't even care if preparatory is a word, it sounds so cool.
I've updated my profile to be a bit more current - I've taken to watching Heroes, House and CSI, for example, and these facts were not listed. This was, of course, completely unacceptable, for reasons including (but not limited to) Heroes is awesome, House is even more awesome, and Horatio Caine is the king of one-liners.
After being on SG for a good while now, I've begun piping up in support of MR sets that I want to see go live. Even posted a comment on my favourite SG's blog (Sky) - I got a response, too! I know it sounds a little weird, but it's almost like speaking to a celebrity. At least, the initial feeling of being star-struck is similar. I now have the privilege of being on her friend list. It prompted me to get my act together and actually stick to my word about being more active.
Here's hoping that - after a few more posts - I might actually apply to join a group.
