So far, so good. I'm enrolled in most of the classes that I need to take this semester, the loan I applied for was approved and the money has been dispersed to the school, I have an interview tomorrow for a new job, and an appointment to see an adviser next Monday.
Now I just have to worry about setting up my last classes before the end of the add/drop period. I've spoken with a Japanese teacher and through a short placement test, we've decided that I'm above the level of one class, but below the level of the next. The class for my level won't be available until spring, but I live in a dorm that serves as a "learning community." Everyone on my floor speaks Japanese, and as such we have a weekly Japanese class together - however, to be in that class, I have to have a Japanese class outside of the dorm. So my option is independent study. I brought this idea to the Japanese teacher, and she said she would look into it. Well, I also looked into it, and I found out that I need to find a teacher to sponsor my studies, create a proposal for these studies, and have the proposal approved by the adviser that I see on Monday. Before 5:00 PM on Monday.
Also, I was told by different people at the Financial Aid Office, the Bursar's Office, and the Tuition Management Systems Office that money should be returned to me shortly for any amount that was overpaid to the school. I was told that I'd receive an email regarding that in the near future. I just hope that A) they're correct and B) that the sum of the money is or is close to $6000, as I have a personal debt to pay.
Lastly, I'm dead broke (literally, I have about $130 left to my name) and I won't be scheduled to work at the retail store I have a job at for another two weeks. I recently called them, and it won't be a problem to get me into the system, but the schedule for the next two weeks as already been posted. I'm supposed to call them on Wednesday, and I guess I'll see where it goes from there. In the meantime, I have...

Plus, I need to purchase a few small toiletries that I cannot do without (such as deodorant...)
So really, I'm racing time here.
I just hope it all works out painlessly.
