Interesting topic lol

Alright. So why is it basically "common knowledge" that if a couple girls go out together and try on underwear and lingerie, it's thought of to be sexy and oh my fucking gahd. But say myself and a couple guy friends went to go try on some briefs and various types of underwear, it'd seem pretty homosexual, not even close to being sexy, and probably just weird?
