But having worked in pet retail ... it would not surprise me if that's legit.
The article claims the colored water allows the turtle to live in the capsule for about a month. A MONTH. Turtles live 50 years. & do you honestly think it can live a month?
Animals require:
Food. I do not see a viable food source in there. Let's provide you with strictly dyed water & see how well you do ...
Stability. Animals need a shelter. They need to feel secure to thrive. Living in a plastic unit in someone's purse or pocket is not a home. For fucks sake, they'll get squashed! You smash a turtle's shell, you break its back ...
OXYGEN. Let's put a plastic bag over your head & see how long you survive.
REALLY. You think it'll last a month in there? With carbon dioxide building up in there, if he doesn't starve/asphyxiate/get smashed first, the temperature in that packet will surely skyrocket.
It really makes me want to go overseas to China & save every one of those darlings. & once they're safe ... well, the vendors won't be ...
