A poem is wrenching its way out.
It concerns Tola'ath Shani, the Scarlet Worm, and the Archangels Raphael and Uriel, and the Tree of Life, and the Tree of the Knowledge of Good & Evil, and the Serpent, and the question of what would happen if a worm were to eat of the fruit of the Tree.
"And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh." -- Isaiah 66, verse 24
Pretentious? You betcha.
