I was walking through swedish suburbia in the light rain, with music in my ears and dreamy fairytales in my head.
As the rain drops fell on me I realized I wasn't going to run to the nearest bus stop or take cover in the comfort of a warmed up home. My feet steered me onto another path and as the road got narrower and the houses fewer I started to feel free.
My heart beat in perfect rythm with the dribbles that fell on my face. I escaped into the forest and breathed the clear, wet air. I don't need my material possessions, I don't need my clothes. I'm not scared by the rain or the wind, I can feel them in my blood. I'm a part of nature, that is why my spirit feels so at ease among the trees.
This is where we all are born from, this is what we one day will be again. It's not religion, it's the beautiful state of the world, realized in a single moment, and maybe forgotten in the next.
