Work has gotten even more strange now. Due to end of year cutbacks two guys from my department were moved to another department. We knew one of them was going to go after the political season, but moving another one has left just me, one other guy and our boss. Apparently my company feels it's better economically to pay me and the other guy 19 hours of overtime each in a 2 week period rather than keep one other person on staff. Oh well, more money for me, but not so much time to enjoy it. Also since we're working 9 hour days I'm on nights now so the other guy can actually see his daughter and spend some time with her. This has left me absolutely bored at nights. I can spend at least 4 hours playing my DS that I sneak in without anything going on, but that's life in an internal Help Desk.

At least my brother-in-law hooked me up and if I'm not doing anything on the weekends I can smoke and just relax surfing the internet or watching cartoons.

I feel like every time I write one of these blogs all I do is complain, when my life really isn't bad at all. I have a good job that I don't hate, at least not much. I have a family that loves me, even though I don't see them that often, mostly on holidays and birthdays. I don't have a lot of friends, but I don't need tons of friends, I can entertain myself. My nephews are awesome. I just wish I could find that special someone to share my life with.

I think I'm resigned to just being alone and will have to deal with it without it affecting me or the ones around me in a bad way. Oh well
