i was sick all weekend and had to cancel my weekend plans and lay in bed.
i just lay there and read. i read a book from cover to cover in one day!
and when my eyes were tired and needed rest, i'd switch to comics instead.
it was kind of rad come to think of it..
i'm still sickish.. and i'm going to the dentist AGAIN today. getting a crown put on my tooth.
i hope i don't cough and send it flying across the room..
and i hope he doesn't drill my tongue again by accident.

last Saturday me, kevin and stefan went to Stu Mead's art show..

Sunday I went to see the last film in the Downtown Film Festival: FLOW see it, youtube it whatever you can.. it will blow your mind. it's a documentary about the future (and current) privatization of water.. how it will be bought and sold like oil instead of good ol' yummy and free water.. you'll have to pay for all of it.

oh and i got a root canal last week.. i'm weird. i LIKE going to the dentist. (i just don't like how much it costs!)

My art that's still available can be seen here. I'm now not only clearing out space to paint- but for my friend that moved back from out of town to stay for 10 days! If you like anything let me know

I'm excited.. I just sold some artwork yesterday. I was really broke so I put some up for sale (there's still more available!!!) through my myspace. I sold these two so far. I'm trying to clear out some room in my studio so I can have space to paint! I just started using oils too which I'm LOVING!!! I'll post pics of that as soon as I finish a painting...

1. my best friend moved back to town (great excuse to be a tourist in LA with her.)

4. my doggy had a bath and she's soft n fluffy now
5. i have just enough money to pay rent!
6. the subway operator this morning that besides the necessary announcements about stops, had a very inspirational commentary all his own, "good morning, good morning folks. it's thursday! are you ready to go out and make your dreams come true..."
7. it's beautiful out today and i'm about to go to lunch
8. i'm one more day closer to getting over this flu!
