Okay, so it's been months and months....lets see...life lately in a nutshell...our oldest will be moving back in with us after school is out because she just can't get along with her mother, our friend that took one of the puppies decided he couldn't keep her after all, now that she's 5 mos old and difficult to find a home for...fortunately I was able to find her one...they are coming to pick her up next week....we are going to start the process of getting pre-qualified for a home loan next week...I've already fallen in love with a house...now I just have to pray I can get a loan to cover it! AH! I'm planning on going back to cosmotology school in August...this time to a Paul Mitchell school where I'll actually LEARN something!! Um...taking a week vacation in July to Las Vegas, with a one day stop in Los Angeles, CA (and I'm excited cause I've never been! YAY) um....oh, my step-sister, whom I haven't seen in 6 years, lives in Las Vegas so I'll get to see her. My child hood best friend, whom I haven't seen since high school graduation, is getting married the week we get back from Vegas, so I'm going to that....and that's pretty much it....busy, busy, busy!

Waaaaah!! The puppies are 6 weeks old today and have to go tomorrow...sigh...I am going to miss the little poopsies! I'll take some last shots of them tomorrow, after I give them all a bath and dry them off....sigh....

Well, I'm on focalin now and it seems to be helping with my depression...now to just find a job! Apparently all the government aid renewed last week and people were told they had to make a certain amount of money before they could qualify again...so unlike two weeks ago, when EVERYBODY was hiring and NOBODY was working, the tides have changed and now EVERYBODY is looking for a job! It's insane! I'm thinking about just sucking it up and going back to doing temporary office work...I never thought I would go back to working in an office...but if it's just temp work, I wouldn't get bored...I could do something mindless like filing or something...and all would be well...I donated all my old work clothes though so I'll have to go buy some more before I can do that! LOL Kind of funny thinking about going back to doing temporary office clerk work when I'm technically a level 3 administrative assistant...damn ADD...it hinders me! I could make $18/hr if only I were normal!! Oh well..such is life...maybe this focalin will help me not get bored so easily and I'll be able to get a job that fits in with my experience level. We shall see...

Probably going to NOLA tomorrow night and then to a big Halloween Party here on Saturday. Ought to be fun. We haven't been to a party in so long! It's a kid friendly party though so don't get too excited! LOL Just food and fellowship. I'm going as Harry Potter and Vanny is supposed to be going as Elvis, but he does not have his costume yet so I'm starting to wonder if he's really planning on dressing up at all or not...hmmmmm....

So anyone else have plans for Halloween? Dressing up as anything?

Meh...my period of mania has officially ended and I am now desperately fighting a period of depression...I hate being depressed! And the bad part about it is, none of the medications I take seem to do me any good! They all make me more depressed which is not good! Depression is bad Mmmmkay? I was hoping this adderall would nip it in the bud because supposedly depression is a common side effect of ADD...but it doesnt' seem to be working....and I am now remembering that when I took adderall before, while depressed, it didn't seem to do anything for me at all...I might as well have been drinking water or something...so...meh...the really aggrivating part is I'm USUALLY manic during the holidays! My cycles got all out of whack when I was on that Wellbutren causing me to have a three month depression during my usual mania cycle and then a mania cylce when I supposed to be depressed....I don't know though...maybe I'll just have a short depression this time around...I'm usually depressed up until the last week of October or the first week of November so we shall see....I just hate that I actually have these distinct cycles and can't seem to do anything about them. Nothing seems to work...and it's hard for me to keep friendships, keep jobs, stay in school...because when I get depressed I turn into a hermit and never leave the house! I've left the house once in two weeks people! True...I was sick...but I get sick a lot when I'm depressed and it's annoying! I just want to be normal for once you know? Anyway....

So after two weeks in the bed, with the flu, I am finally feeling more like myself again...I'm still a little congested, but I'm able to do my normal daily activities without feeling like I'm going to die at the end of the day! lol I don't think it would have lasted as long as it did, however, had it not been for our two kittens and black lab lying in the bed with me...all of whom I am allergic to....so yeah...Zada is temporarily in the backyard until my sinuses clear up completely and the kittens are being confined to the play room....I miss my babies though...but alas, I must completely get over this crap you know? I mean two weeks is WAY more than enough!!

So a friend of ours is coming through town and staying with us tomorrow night....and you know we are temporarily in this duplex...we have one bed, which is a queen, and that's it...and she has an infant so I just could NOT put them on the floor...so we decided to look into getting a futon...we wanted one anyway, but we really needed one like now right? Well, the cheapest we could find was about all we had in the bank (thanks to that person that took all our money out of my man's wallet last week) so we didn't know what to do....so today my next door neighbor called and asked if I could give him a ride to work because his car was in the shop...so as I was driving him I looked over and there was this futon just sitting on the side of the road...I stared at it for a moment and then asked him "is that a futon?"....anyway, to make a long story short, the futon was too big to fit IN the truck, so he helped me heave it up on top of the truck (something I could not have done by myself or had I been driving his wife to work instead of him....and had I waited until my man got home from work I guarantee you the futon would not have still been there! Things walk away fast in this neighborhood! lol) and then he helped me get it in the house, which was a pain in the ass I would like to add....I scrubbed the hell out of that thing for a good 3 hours and walah!! Free futon! It's wood, in good condition...it just needed to be tightened up a bit...the mattress will have to be replaced when we have the money, but we managed to find a $7.00 futon cover at Target....and just for the record..the cheapest futon cover we could find was $20.00 at Big Lots and it was leopard print...which would have looked retarded in our living room...the nice ones were about $50.00, but we really didnt' want to spend that much on a cover considering we're just going to buy a new matress and cover later on anyway....but we were looking for a black futon cover right?....the covers at Target were $29.99...so we walked over to the clearance isle and there was this one black futon cover priced at $7.00!!! There is absolutely nothing wrong with it! We have no idea why on earth it was on clearance other than this green stain on the case the cover was in...but the green didn't get onto the futon cover at all! SO....YAY!! I was telling my man, I don't know if it was our good karma or our friend's good karma or a combination of the two, but how crazy is that? I mean, what are the odds?

Life in a nutshell....turns out I had the flu...so no pics...I was sick the whole time we were in Florida and spent all day yesterday in the bed as well....Vanny didn't get his paycheck on Saturday like we were expecting...apparently they mailed them on Monday so it should be here tomorrow afternoon....Vanny DID get his monthly V.A. though...which he removed all but $100 of from his bank account and stuck it in his wallet...then he lost his wallet yesterday at a gas station in Lafayette, LA....he only has one bank card for the account that money goes into by the way so we had no way to withdraw money from that account, had zero cash...and fortunately someone turned it in...but they were kind enough to remove the cash first SO....and so at this very moment Vanny is driving all the way to Lafayette to retrieve his now empty wallet....yeah....not a very good week up to this point...maybe we'll win the lotto or something! It's gotta be good because you know...
