Well, we're back but I'm going to try to stay off the computer and get some stuff done around the house and yard this week...after spending several days with old country folk I am feeling all crafty and domestic! I want to drag out my sewing machine and make summer dresses for the girls, plant flower beds in the yard (actually went out and mowed the lawn and clipped the hedges yesterday...god those poor hedges looked like shit..whoever planted them just stuck them in the group and let them go..I had to cut half of them off!) and get the house completely organized...by cleaning out the damn garage and making storage space for all this shit we have stuck in corners...I hate it! We have WAY too much shit! I thought about auctioning it off on ebay but I really don't want to go through all the boxes again..I am just going to get all the yard sale boxes together and donate them to charity....it may take a few trips though...we have yard sale boxes out the yin yang.....and I'm just tired of looking at them...

On a sad note, I gained 8 lbs this week...although the process was most enjoyable ! lol I ate home made ice cream, home made blue berry cobler, home made blue berry cheesecake muffins, and home made peanut butter balls dipped in chocolate..and that was just inbetween the meals! LOL Corn bread, mashed potatos and roast gravy, fried chicken, corn, black eyed peas, home made macaroni and cheese (with velveeta...damn good shit people...damn good), and in the mornings we had home made biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, ham and bacon...and some honey to dip it all in...and considering I pretty much stick to a low carb diet...all that sugar went right to my hips...talk about some serious water retention! LOL Anywho, I figure working out in the yard all week will take it right back off...that, and drinking TONS of water...oh..I drank nothing but sweet tea all week too...mmmmmmmmm!

We are going to be in NOLA April 2nd, so if you're gonna be in town let me know so we can meet and greet!

I though it would be the perfect opportunity to work on my photography skills..we got some really good shots..wish I had the time to re-size and post them all....and I had one REALLY good one of Vanny with the kids, each having caught a fish, but he would kill me if I posted it! He had bed hair..you know..out in the country...you just don't worry about putting gel in your hair before going fishing with the kids! LOL Anywho..here they be and shit!

You know..it's the craziest thing but I went to get my hair cut today and my usual hair dresser is in the hospital with pneumonia so I had to get it cut by someone else...and it is NOT the same hair cut I would like to add..but that's another story...ANYWAY, so after he cut it I decided to see if he could cut my step-son's hair..and he was like..you look too young to have a step-son...so I asked him how old he thought I was...you're not going to believe this...16!!! He thought I was freakin' 16 yrs old! LOL I mean, I know I look young but DAMN! lol I was thinking I looked around 18 or 19 without my make-up on but good grief! LOL Anyway, so there ya have it! LOL
