I think it is hard to find a good Chinese restaurant anywhere. There are so many of them, but the majority of them are mediocre to bad, especially the buffet places. High quality Chinese restaurants usually stick to the nicer city areas. And yes, good luck finding an Indian/Turkish restaurant, I don't know what I would do without one.

And as for the Team America movie being 12-year old ready...well, I don't know, theys ay "fuck" a lot, and have lot's of meaningfully offensive, and sometimes just offensive stuff in it, so it's probably not the best for a kid. and there is an awesome puppet sex scene in it (they had to do it over 9 times till it was accepted as an R movie and not NC-17 or above) I still recomend it for you though.

I'll probably head to NOLA when I get a chance, I'll be gone for the next few weekends, I made some promises that I have to keep..I would try to blow them off if I didn't give them my word that I'd be there....friendship is hell sometimes . I just thought the jokes weren't that great in Team America .... like, usually the only times I laughed were during the silly songs, or just watching the puppets move in strange puppet-like ways.

I'm not really one for haunted houses. The element of surprise, I think, is a cheap scare!

To answer your question, yes, I teach at a private school. I went to a college that didn't offer any education classes, and I therefore majored in English. After I got out I decided I didn't want to do anymore formal schooling for a while, and I thought I should do something with all the knowledge I had gained, so teaching at private schools, which don't require teacher certification, was the best option.

How is the painting of the house going? And how about that liquid diet? I hope that you're at the point where you can start eating solid food again. I remember when I had my wisdom teeth out and had to eat soup for a week. No fun.
