My profile says its been nearly 3 years since I put a blog on here. Last one was a pic of Rancid (my teenage idols) standing in my yard holding my one year old daughter. That picture still blows my mind! And that little girl is four now. No longer my baby, shes a little person, razor sharp and with more personality than I could have imagined. She gets more fun every day, I wake up just to see what shes gonna do next, but god damn do I miss the baby in that picture!
And Im about 95% certain that every "friend" I used to talk to on here has long since gone grey. So it seems like a good place to vent to the wind. I picked up one of my best friends (brothers) tonight to take him out for his last night in town before moving to California. One of my oldest and best true partners in we should have been arrested for or dead crime. we both long since cooled off and live better lives, and its been more than a minute since we really hung out. Had a great fucking night just kicking back and catching up. Didnt realize till I was dropping him off just how much Im gonna miss the guy. Its amazing how a walk down memory lane and reliving old stories makes you realize how much youve grown and changed, but makes you remember that at the core youve always stayed true and never bent. Ill see him again soon, but in the mean time Im really gonna miss my friend, like I miss every one that time has seperated. But its always nice to remember that with true friends nothing ever changes and you can always pick back up like you left off yesterday. The day that changes I think Ill lay down and die! Until then, cheers till the next time brother!
