my mom is such a dork. shes british and is visiting my sister in virginia atm. they went to some high tea thing and there were loose tea leaves so when everyone was done with their tea she was all, he let me read your tealeaves. so of course they do. good times. the one i think is kinda funny was my sisters fiances mom was there. her cup when my mom looked at it the first time she told me she saw two dead ravens. lol so she was all.. there wasnt enough liquid theyre too close together. do it again and lets look. so she did and it was better. still funny though. old wives tails but fun nonetheless. made me smile.
i remember one morning i was having tea with my mom and i had a track meet that day. there was a girly smiley face and a number one in my cup. i didnt win but it was still kinda funny. lol i think i took a pic of that one but i dont remember where it is. probably somewhere on m external HD.
something ive noticed while being on my own (bro and mom have been gone for a while visiting peeps) is i like to walk around in nothing to near nothing. its refreshing. even if its cold. i dunno. i like it.
as someone i was talking to yesterday said, if i could live in lingerie i would. i agree.
i was sad 10 minutes ago when i remembered this dude was supposed to be here this afternoon. it was just like well crap i have to get dressed. bah.
been listening to a lot of sara bareilles today. still think my favorite song is gravity. i also really like tread water but gravity is just one of those songs that just speaks to you.
was thinking yesterday and today, friday was the best day ive have in a long while. LONG while. didnt realize how monotonous my life is until then..*sigh*
is it possible to be depressed and happy at the same time??? i swear thats how i feel. its odd..
i feel like im rambling so i guess ill leave it at that.

now all ive got is a short proposal for my research paper.. which is only going to take about 10 minutes.. what else am i going to do with my day. grr...
