Heavy Rain - for this game I've bought my PlayStation 3. I also finished it twice, which is not typical for me. In my opinion, Quantic Dream managed to create a perfect game. The player will find in it: dark criminal mystery, a lot of action and press the right button sequences, four characters, real emotion, unusual way of using the controller, beautiful graphic and music.
In some American city boys begin to disapear. Body of every one of them is found after a few days, left somewhere with a Chrysantheme flower on his chest and an origami figure in his hand. The police tries to catch the murderer, known as the Origami Killer.
Ethan Mars, a young architect, used to be a happy husband and father. Everything changed when his son Jason died in a car accident. His wife left him and now Ethal lives with his other son Shaun in a tiny and dark house. He feels responsible for Jason's death and has problems with mental health. One day Shaun disappears and Ethar receives a strange letter...
Madison Paige is a young and promising journalist, troubled by insomnia and bad dreams. Devoted to her job she'd do everything to write a good story.
Scott Shelby is a private detective in his 50's, hired by the parents of one of the Origami Killer's victims. He suffers from asthma and drinks too much.
Norman Jayden - an FBI agent, working on a psychological profile of the Origami Killer. He uses the futuristic equipment. A drug addict.
The player controlls each character and all his or her moves. All means of example: opening the door, getting undressed, dancing, driving, shooting, pissing, cooking, applying makeup, feeding an infant... you name it. Sound riddiculus? Then try it youself!
With the choises he or she makes, the player has the influence of the plot and the ending - and there are 18 potential endings! Here's an example:

Heavy Rain is a psychological thriller. Quantic Dream put stress on shoving character's emotion and moving the player. The characters look and behave very realistic.
The makers of the game suggest to treat it is an interactive movie and finish it only once. Well, I just had to play it a second time, partly because I wasn't really satisfied with my first ending...
