After struggling with different packages and methodologies for about a month, I can finally say that finding that quick tutorial has saved me a lot of frustration. No need to jailbreak. NO need to do anything funky. the hardest part of that is really getting a UUID from the device. Sorry if you can't cut and paste.
Anyway, I'm happy as hell right now. It feels like I'm finally winning this battle with Wintel and Apple.
