I'm planning a short road trip for myself, by myself, in August.
I'm gonna follow the band Coalesce as they make their way down the northern part of the east coast. They'll be touring with Daughters and See You Next Tuesday.

Here are the dates:
8/15/07 The Palladium Upstairs, Worcester, MA

8/16/07 First Unitarian Church, Philadelphia, PA

8/17/07 Knitting Factory, NYC, NY

8/18/07 Otto Bar, Baltimore, MD

8/19/07 Alley Katz, Richmond, VA

I won't be making all of the shows or all of the towns because it's a bit much for me. Besides, I've already been to New York a thousand times. I'm gonna fly up, rent a car, catch the first show, and then play it by ear. Sightsee, eat ice cream, drink beer, hang out. take photos.
Drop the car off at the last stop, fly back monday morning.

If anyone wants to hang out, smoke cigarettes, show me your town's indie movie theatre and/or music shop and/or fucking awesome restaurant, buy me beer and/or ice cream, or offer me a floor and/or couch to sleep on, or whatever, I make a mean quesadilla. And I'm funny.

Bringherheart has graciously already volunteered herself and her man for hanging out on the first night. woowoo.

I need this. I'm in a stressed out place. I need to hang out with new people and drive long distances with good music. I need to get lost in a new town.
