A little late but here goes, Obviously you don't want to hurt your family, but you gotta do what makes you happy. If you focused only on trying to keep your friends and family happy then you forget about yourself and suddenly you hate life. and if ever some drama should occur, just use the quote from "Forgetting Sarah Marshall," "When life gives you lemons just say fuck the lemons and bail."
