I first hear of Suicide girls from HBO's Real Sex when the founder came on and told how she loved pin-up art but all of her friends were peirced and/or tattooed so she used them as models.
Personally I found that to be so releasing to see girls as pinups who aren't clear skinned and blonde. Which is what attracted me to the Suicide Girls site in the first place.
