^that was me this morning.
So I've come down with the stomach flu. Yippie! Okay, so there is no yip or pie in being sick. There was, however, a really cute boy named Chris who took care of me all this morning... *melt* I have to admit that although I'm not one for the whole relationship thing, having a sign. other does have its pluses.
I didn't make it to the gym this morning. I got up at 7 with a stomach ache and took a long bath... the long bath ended in the veggie dogs I ate last night swimming around in the toliet. I know, TMI!
Sorry.
Anyway... throwing up sucks. I thought it would make me feel better but instead I ended up feeling worse. In my costume tech class, we were supposed to start learning how to make the corsets this morning. I got up and forced myself to put clothes on, even though I knew it wasn't the best idea to attempt to attend class. By the time I was nearly ready to leave, the phone rang... it was my roommate (a fellow costume major) who told me that the teacher had requested I stay home. Wow. That was a surprise. This is the teacher who gets very mad when you're late, let alone miss a day. I think the fact that one of the other 4 girls in my class wasn't going to be there (she's sick w/ a similiar thing) helped in my teachers kind decision.
So I stayed home, felt miserable, cuddled w/ my boy, made him watch one of my fav movies w/ me... playing by heart ... (I swear, sometimes I think he's the character "trent"'s younger and slightly more exhagerrated twin. Anyways, you just have to love a movie where you get to see Jon Stewart and Gillian Anderson make out. Come on. Admit it.
The darling boy went out to get me medicine and stuffed animal and then took better care of me than my mother ever did. Gawd, why does he have to be such an asshole one day and then do this the next? It's so confusing. Today, I think I'm
Tomorrow... who knows.
Q: What was the worst time you've ever been sick?
A: When I had mono and my tonsils were swollen so large that I couldn't swallow anything w/ out the help of steriods and some good ol' oxycontin to ease the pain.

My worst sick times were:
Sick with Mono when I was 19--same thing you describe.
or
Sick with chicken pox at 22--the itching was maddening and I looked like the Elephant Man.
