Still nothing useful done but a good weekend none the less, not least because I now feel completely recovered from my cold.
Went for drinks with a friend who is going back to Scotland after finishing Uni. Far too much JD was consumed. We all hugged lots and said we would always be friends. Very emotional.
One of my friends mums is having an operation for cancer in 2 months and the docters aren't sure if she'll recover afterwards. Its really hard on him because hes really dependent on his mum and I'm not sure how he'll cope with the worst. Made sure he knew we'd all be there for him if he needed someone to talk to. What else can you do in that situation especially when you're half cut? Hopefully I'll wont have to go through similar for a long time yet so I can't say I understand or know what he's feeling. Think he had a good night any way, hope that took his mind of it some.
Went to a party after all that. More JD and arguments over what records to play. Finally got home at 3 in the morning, warmed up a plate of caserole that was waiting and passed out in a state of bliss.
So it wasn't useful but it was a lot of fun.
