Low were awesome as always and the sound in St Georges Church was as perfect as I remembered so all in all a pretty damn fine night. I also did a bit of writing about the nature of being at a gig in your own whilst waiting for them to come on. It still read better then my average drunken ramblings when I had a look at it this morning which was quite nice. First time I've been tempted to write something for the sake of it for ages so that was good as well.

I was sat in the office looking at the sunshine feeling miserable becuase I couldn't go outside when it dawned on me that this time next year I will be able to spend sunny spring afternoons in the sun. Being a student is going to rock biggrin

In order to do that I need to do some work before I go to back to college on Monday. I need to evaluate the project we did before Easter which is easy but dull, order all my paperwork so that I can hand it all in to be assessed and choose a subject for my end of year piece which is becoming a pain in the arse. I'm thinking of doing something surrounding working class identity and whether there is still such a thing as a collective working class identity today. That links in quite well with our cultural studies modula and sounds quite interesting but I think it might be a bit vague. It's probably fine but it's not just inpsiring me at the moment.

I thought I had no idea who Low were, and then I listened to the most recent album, and I somehow seem to be familiar with it already. It must have been on in the background at a party whilst I was slumped in the corner or something. Anyway, I like. smile

Yip. It's a bitch sitting in an office looking out at the sun. You better make the forthcoming student days count, buddy.
