The weekend turned into one continuos drinking session. I am not quite sure how that happened as I had nothing major planned. I am now feeling a bit spaced out at work. Sobriety is odd.
Made new friends, saw old ones and won a vital football game. Drink = fun. Sober = work.
Edit:full description as writing this is better then work.
Friday - pub straight after work as usual. Then as I was really up for going out properly I managed to find someone a mate who was going out. This is a rarity as Brighton seems to double in price on Friday and Saturday nights but a mate from college had lots of friends down from Nottingham where she used to live so I got wasted with a lot of mental Northeners. This could have been worse but they decided they were going to a club I hate so I escaped around 1 in the morning.
Saturday - played football in the afternoon and was in the pub by 3. We won our 2nd game of the season, a week after we won our 1st. It is amazing how much easy football is when you manage to start with 11 a side. I am not quite sure where the day went after this but around 11 me and my popstar mate ended up in a house where there was far too much K being done. Escaped from there and went back to hers with a bottle of vodka. I have very little memory of anything else.
Sunday - woke up to a phone call from my Dad asking where I was as I had football that morning. This was suprisingly difficult to answer but I deduced that I was staring at the ceiling of mates front room and managed to get back home in time to get my shit together. I have nominated myself as manager for our reserves on Sunday so didn't have to play, just holler nonsense from the sideline. Apparently I still stank of alcohol as people were giving me a wide berth. Forced myself to drink again afterwards as the 1st team had beaten their main rivals in the league 6-2 and now have a real chance of winning the league. I didn't leave the pub until at least 6. I didn't last too long that night though and was asleep pretty early.
Monday - seemed to have avoided a hangover but I am pretty spaced out. I should probably take some time off drink but theres a meet this weekend and more football so it's not going to happen. I shall plan a detox for some time after the football season.
