First impression here.
So I've been here for less than a week now... and I'm sorry to say that I've gotten a very negative feeling from many of the people here.
There's nice people out there and very intelligent ones, too. Even the girl who got me here is a sweetheart and it would be amazing if everyone here had that attitude (not saying everyone should be the same, though). But most of the comments (chat room included) seem to come from close minded people (or intolerant idiots) or those who feel they can rule the site because of the years they've been here.
On top of that, one of my threads in the boards was closed by a moderator because he thought I was repeating myself (and really, how can a suggestion is equal to "I wanna meet someone"?).
I do hope to meet some nicer people because in a very sad way, so far, the $48 I paid for the year subscription, is just not worth it.
On the other hand, I'm getting to know some of the girls better... even nice guys have arguments and are way cool. But still, the majority of the people here makes me feel like I'm not welcome (and I've seen how other people get attacked, too, but I can only speak for myself).
I'm not sure how many of you will read this comment and I'd love to post it somewhere else so everyone can see how mean people is to the new ones (I've even met some girls that left because of the same reason, not to say guys, too).
Oh yeah, and it's not like I'm all boohoo about it, but if people would be a little bit nicer and not just harrassing ones, we could have a closer and better community.
Again, it's just my first impression and I really wish it to change.

I had no idea. But, there are some cool people here, trust me. Once you've found them it ends up being worth it just to see what they're doing. I've found I like this site a lot more than Myspace and other sites. I mean, A. even if they're being rude, it proves peole here are involved and respond to threads and posts and B. You do have access to look at pretty girls! Unlike other sites, however, you have the opportunity to try and talk to them and see what they're doing. I feel it offers the girls the rare opportunity to feel beautiful and be appreciated. A lot of girls eventually get tired of it and retire from the site, but there's always more chicks out there who would love to be told how gorgeous they are... again, I hope you wait and see... maybe you just haven't found the right threads or groups to be in yet. <3
