Max's mom is trying to give us a succulent out of her yard, despite my continued explanations that they need much more sun than our apartment balcony can offer. Max keeps telling her that it will (no "might," no "could") die. For some reason, that doesn't work.

And tomorrow is the Day of Reckoning. We're not celebrating because UPS has been less than speedy lately. (Well, that, and it's a pretty fucking weak holiday, except for the chocolate.) I'll probably be spending Valentine's Day getting some pants hemmed. Ah, romance! Anyway, boys, kiss your girls (or boys) and vice versa.
