SHIT...haven't updated in a long time...yet again.
Okay, well the play is done. Fucking fantastic. Last weekend, the closing weekend, almost sold out. It was so much fun. I missed theater SO much. EMU showed me what it was like t be back in the theater and I was so welcomed. I actually went through on Easter, and wrote a new 10 minute play. It is going to be a good one. With my last one being dramatic, this one, the new one, is pure comedy, with a slap to religion.
Gotta love it.
In other news...Semester is almost done...damnit. This is been a fast one. I have also went through and put in my CV to Christie's in NYC. I hope that I can get the internship. It will be a little odd to see what school is going to do. I know that they usually do have a "credit hour for internship" program...but usually this is only three credit hours. For something like this...I wonder if it couldn't be expanded to more of a semester's worth of credits. Regardless, if I have the chance to go work at Christie's...that would be amazing. A semester in the Art Capital of the world, at one of the finest auction houses period...but it will give me some great experiences.
In other news...I don't really have that much to write about. I am going to stop doing painting for a while, Too much money required that I currently don't have, but it was fun while it lasted. However, the The play, now that is something that I could continue to do with no problem what so ever. And I don't have to put so much money into this new play, my personal money, like the old play.
I did have another gallery exhibition recently. That was fun It was only a one day showing, but it did allow me to bring out some old photographs and bring them back to life in the public view. I have another one on the 20th...so that should be fun. It is going with a live performance/poetry reading by my good friend Mark Hennessy. He is a great guy and give a great reading.
Really though, I just can't wait to be done with school. I want to start my new life. I want to be able to have fun with the knowledge that I've gained, which has actually be a ton. I know I still have a little bit of time to go...so I need to buckle down and just do it, then things will be different, but yeah...lol. shit.
In other news, I have figured out what I want to do with my degree, thanks to Art + Auction magazine. It should be fun, with a lot of hard work, I should be able to have some fun.
So what is new with you?
