I'm blogging horizontally. I'm not sure why I update, since all the members I knew were reading aren't actually part of the site anymore. 
The last week has been busy at work. I am very pleased that there is a cool breeze coming through the window.
It seems summer is giving us a much needed reprieve, of which I'm really excited for... (even though I will be inside working and not enjoying it).

It seems summer is giving us a much needed reprieve, of which I'm really excited for... (even though I will be inside working and not enjoying it). Saw my parents this weekend. 
They're always an adventure... When I got picked up from the train, my 62YO dad was blasting Ice Cube.
The rest of the time was pretty low-key, but this morning my mom (who is obsessed with carrying around this huge change purse) made me pay for a 2.99 card with ALL PENNIES. It was pretty embarrassing. lol
On a positve note, I picked out some new glasses frames!
The only way I can describe them is to compare them to one of those clear toothbrushes with the sparkles in it!
They're a lavender-pinkish color.
I'm pretty psyched.

I am going into work very late today. It's nice to have the morning to linger, but I definitely prefer going in to open and leaving earlier.
I'm about to leave my apartment and head into town. I'm going to find some A/C and read.

This weekend has been pretty good...
Friday night, I was hoping on seeing my crush, but she had things to do. I ended up making plans to have dinner with a coworker in Harvard Square. I ended up going to Cambridge early and showed amazing discipline at the Harvard Bookstore. I had two books I was carrying around (one was a short history of medicine and the other was on brain plasticity :::geek swoon::. I was so proud of myself, because I put them back! After, I ended up getting some coffee and people-watching until she arrived. We had some good conversation and a few laughs. I didn't stay out too late, though.
Yesterday, I got my latest tattoo filled in. It's very colorful and detailed!
I haven't really been doing anything exciting today. Mainly, it has been filled with housework.. I may watch a movie later.
On a side note: Someone get me an Italian greyhound, plz!
