Back to work after a long wonderful vacation. The break has definitely given me the time to think about where I want to be. Now it is just a matter of getting full time employment for one of the companies I work for or getting my shop opened up.
The wif and I are having our 6 year anniversary this week, and we met on here. Thank you SG.
Currently reading "the savage detectives" by Roberto Bolaño. Great read.

Portland storm time!

So I want to have another pot luck soon. Due to all this hippie green week crap, I am thinking of a cruelty to animals theme. Maybe some veal stuffed with foie gras. Muffins or cupcakes made with rare bird eggs.
Ideas?

So I made some of the best pulled pork I have ever made a few days ago. We stopped by Trader Joes on the way home last night and I got their Lavosh bread. It is kind of a flatbread. I made coleslaw today and so we are eating pulled pork and coleslaw wraps. I love good food!
Yesterday was too much fun at the wonderful atomicant and Schmelectra abode.

Today pot roast with yorkshire pudding, tomorrow roast beef hash with fried eggs. I love having a meat grinder!

Wish us luck getting out of town. Seems I-5 is closed around Wilsonville due to a jackknifed truck. Should be making it back just fine though in a week.
Instead of 7 to 8 hours for our trip today, I think it'll be more like 12. Thank god I went to school in PA and know how to drive in this mess.

Hell yes for 4 day weekends! I haven't had a break in quite a while.
My son turned 10 on Monday, my sis 43 on Sat., my woman 30 yesterday and my mom is 69 tomorrow.
The New Year are playing the Doug Fir tomorrow night.
Now, back to my prosecco.
