Saturday morning, bright and early, we're hopping on a train for a long weekend in Montauk.



I've always wanted to pull a Jim Carrey from Eternal Sunshine when he spontaneously blows off work and hops a train going to Montauk, but this planned trip will have to do for now. Sadly, though, I'm going to miss Nick Cave when he plays here on Saturday (boo hiss), but I guess I'll check see him the next time around.



Anyway, I've got a stack of books, a couple bottles of wine, and a huge beach blanket, and I can't wait to turn off the phone, unplug the computer, and relax with a good book while listening to the waves crash. I love the beach when the weather cools off and the hordes go home.

I'd like to bring one more book. Any recommendations?
